"I'm big, you're small."

Do you remember that old Sesame Street segment about big and small? All these characters out "bigging" the other person (I'm big, you're small. No, I'm big, you're small) and finally, a giant monster comes in saying "I AM THE BIGGEST."

I was thinking about that sketch today when I sat down to blog. It appears I have a problem with "big." And this is true. If you look at any diary (and now blog) I've had, there are TONS of entries talking about nothing whatsoever... obviously. But when big things happen, it causes me to not blog/write a penpal/journal for months (years in some cases). Because what can you say? What can you say that will encompass everything this event is to you? What can you say that won't belittle the whole experience just by trying to put it into words?

I've started writing this blog numerous times over the last few weeks, and nothing seemed to work. So let me just put this out there. ... like you do...

HOLY CRAP, I AM GETTING MARRIED!

Seriously! And to a really great guy. His name is Matt. You've probably met Matt at some point in our relationship if you're reading this (we've been dating for over 2 years). But if, for some reason or another like you live across the country, or something, you have never met him... it's just too bad. You should meet him soon, because he's pretty darn fabulous.

I should here post a picture of my ring (which is beautiful, you'll all die of envy) or one of our engagement pictures (so you can see how darn cute we are). But I don't have pictures right now. And if I don't post this blog, it will probably be another 3 weeks before I write a worthwhile blog, and then it will be EVEN MORE tardy.

IN FINALE, Answers to various questions:
We're getting married April 13th in a very small ceremony at Memorial House in Memory Grove. It'll be charming and well-planned. My dress is stunning.

I am registered at Kohl's and Macy's (no, you don't have to get me something... i've just got a lot of questions about it recently)

Yes, we are getting married fairly quickly, but I blame the US Army for that. Mostlikely less than a month after we get married, he is going to Georgia for training for the Army (he's switching services) so that is why it is SO QUICK. (not any other reason...)

Also, total strangers ask me how he proposed... as well as non-strangers. I find this to be weird (the strangers part, not the people who know me...). I'm just putting it out there. But if you really want to know that one... ask me in person or over email. Because a)I've been banned from posting it here and b) why do so many people want to know?

In conclusion. I AM IN LOVE!!! And I'm so happy...
